Clubs and Organizations

Ski Club

Students and chaperones go skiing and snowboarding  throughout the months of January and February. Students of all skill levels participate in this organization and improve throughout their time on the slopes.

6th Grade Math Team

The Sixth Grade Math Team is compiled of 15 math students who compete in March against other top students in Stark county. Students compete in the following categories: Team Problem Solving, Geometry and Measurement, Number Systems, Mental Computation and Data, Analysis and Probability. Tryouts will be held in December and practices will begin in January.

5th Grade Math Team

The Fifth Grade Math Team is compiled of 15 math students who compete in March against other top students in Stark county. Students compete in the following categories:  mental computation, data and probability/algebra, geometry/measurement, number sense, and team problem solving. The tournament culminates in a celebration including music, dancing, and awards. Tryouts will be held in December and practices will begin in January.

Lake Leaders

Classrooms choose a representative to attend monthly meetings on Lake's core values. They then report what they learned to their classrooms.

FCS (Fellowship of Christian Students)

FCS are 6th graders who meets before school for fellowship and lessons.

Robotics Club

5th and 6th graders who build and compete with VEX robots.

Advisor: Marc Pullen

 

Student Council

Classroom representatives who help facilitate building activities.

Chess Club

Students learn how to play chess.

Students meet before school to run.
